High Tunstall College of Science is a true comprehensive school, which offers everything needed to succeed: high standards, high expectations and high quality teaching and learning. These qualities are reflected in our ethos where every student attending High Tunstall can reach their own personal goals and achieve their potential through a personalised curriculum, good teaching and clear personal support.

High Tunstall College of Science has lots to offer all in our community and we regularly welcome our primary partners to the College to take part in activities that enrich their educational career.  We are members of the Hartlepool Secondary Schools Partnership. 

After 5 years at High Tunstall Students leave with above national average GCSE results and last year the students of the College achieved:

59% - 5 + A*-C Grades including English and Mathematics

87% - 5+ A*- C grades

95% - 5+ A*- G grades

99% - 1 + A*-G grades
